Browser controls
Major browsers allow blocking third-party cookies, clearing site data, and installing privacy extensions. Blocking all cookies may prevent the consent banner from remembering your choice, causing it to reappear on each visit until you accept essential storage only.
Questions
Email [email protected] with subject line "Cookie inquiry" for clarifications about technologies used after material site updates.
This cookie policy explains how DeepLearnPath ("we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on deeplearnpath.one. It should be read alongside our privacy policy. By continuing to browse after interacting with our cookie banner, you consent to the practices described below for the categories you accept.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember preferences, maintain security, and—if you opt in—understand aggregate usage patterns. Similar technologies include local storage keys used by our consent banner to remember your choices.
How we use cookies
We group cookies into essential and optional categories. Essential cookies are necessary for basic site operation and cannot be disabled through our banner without breaking functionality. Optional analytics cookies help us measure traffic in aggregate; they are disabled until you accept them via "Accept all" or the customise panel.
Cookie categories
Essential cookies
These support security, load balancing, and consent storage. Example: a local storage entry named for our consent key records whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies so the banner does not reappear on every visit. Duration: up to twelve months, renewable when you make a new choice.
Analytics cookies (optional)
If enabled, anonymous analytics may collect page views, referral sources, device type, and approximate region derived from IP addresses truncated for privacy. We do not use optional analytics for cross-site advertising profiles. Duration: session to thirteen months depending on vendor configuration. We currently minimise third-party analytics; if we enable a provider, we will update this section with vendor name and opt-out links.
Managing preferences
On your first visit, a banner offers three choices: Accept all, Reject optional, or Customise. Rejecting optional cookies loads only essential technologies. You may clear cookies through browser settings; doing so resets consent and will show the banner again. Browser help pages describe how to block third-party cookies globally.
Third-party content
We load fonts from Google Fonts with preconnect hints. Google may process connection metadata under its own policies. Programme pages may embed links to external documentation; those sites set their own cookies if you follow links.
Do Not Track
Our site does not respond to Do Not Track signals in a uniform industry manner. Optional analytics remain off until you provide consent through our banner, which we believe satisfies PIPEDA's reasonable expectations for optional tracking.
Updates
We review this policy when adding new site features. Material changes appear with an updated date at the top of this page.
Contact
Questions about cookies: [email protected] or +1 (604) 555-7382. Mailing address: 1130 West Pender Street, Suite 624, Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Similar technologies
Local storage keys may store consent preferences without traditional cookie headers. Clearing site data removes them and resets your banner choice until you select preferences again.
Retention review
We review cookie practices annually or when adding analytics vendors. Material changes receive an updated date at the top of this page and may trigger a renewed consent prompt for returning visitors.
Essential cookies cannot be disabled while using our contact form and cookie preference panel because those features require storing your choices locally.
